Live webinar: Making Student Thinking Visible

When students can hand an assignment to AI, how do you know they’re actually thinking? Faculty at Weber State University took that question head on by shifting the focus from the finished product to the learning process itself, and now they’re sharing what worked.

Join us Tuesday, July 14 at 2pm ET / 11am PT.

You’ll walk away with practical strategies for rethinking assessment in an AI-saturated classroom; using alternative formats like student podcasts, digital portfolios, and web pages to surface real thinking; building faculty development that sustains innovation; and putting Adobe Express Learning Kits to work through Canvas Commons.

Can’t make the live session? Register anyway and we’ll send the recording straight to your inbox. Hosted by The Chronicle of Higher Education and sponsored by Adobe.

Live webinar for marketing teams: How to Rethink University Marketing at Scale

Join us Tuesday, July 28, at 9:30am PT / 10:30am MT.

Higher education marketing and communications teams are producing more content across more channels than ever — coordinating across departments, student organizations, and staff in the process. Keeping that output consistent and on brand while moving quickly is increasingly difficult when production is distributed across a large institution.

In this session, you'll learn:

  • Practical tips and workflows to create, review, and distribute assets at scale

  • How to set up Brand Kits with Adobe Express so any team member can quickly create on-brand content (without help from a designer)

  • How to deliver consistent, efficient, and cost-effective assets that meet your institution’s brand standards

This summer’s elective: leveling up

Summer is the perfect time to build new skills and explore fresh ideas. Whether you’re reworking assignments, creating polished campus communications, or helping administrative teams manage document-heavy workflows, the resources below are designed to help. We’ve rounded up practical learning picks for Adobe Express, PDF Spaces, and Adobe Creative Cloud Pro.

In this month’s edition, we're focusing on what’s available in the Experience League for Acrobat users.

One of the most asked questions in our Adobe Education Institute events is, "How can I make PDFs accessible?" This self-paced course will guide you through the steps. Adobe is constantly adding new accessibility features in all our apps, so stay tuned for more to come.

A few summer-planning tips:

  • Block 30–60 minutes on the calendar. Short, scheduled bursts beat "I'll get to it" every time.

  • Pair up. Going through Adobe Express or PDF Spaces with a partner means you'll both walk away ready to start fall in high gear.

  • Save the AEI Labs page. Adobe adds new live higher ed sessions every month.

Join our Higher Education Faculty Community.

The best ideas in higher ed rarely come from a single campus. They come from comparing notes with faculty and staff facing the same challenges a continent away.

Join them to share your best ideas, gather resources you can bring back to your campus, and move faster on instructional innovations that will make an impact.

Watch on demand: Skills for Graduate Success

The workplace is moving faster than the curricula built to prepare students for it. In this on-demand session, faculty from Aston University and Manchester Metropolitan share how they reworked assessments and projects to build the creative and AI skills employers actually need.

They also share real examples of how to embed Adobe Express into business school curricula at scale. No design or AI background needed to put these ideas to work this semester. Hosted by Debbie McVitty of WonkHE.

We're pleased to announce the release of the Move Assets policy, now generally available in the Adobe Admin Console. This feature enables system and storage administrators to control whether users in their organizations can move assets to locations outside the organization's storage — such as shared projects owned by client organizations — directly from the console.
