Collaboration Event Recap

ree

We recently had the pleasure of delivering the fourth UK Adobe Creative Campus Collaboration event, hosted by the University of the West of England. It was truly inspiring and brought the Adobe Creative Campus community together for a day of connection, collaboration, and inspiration. Together we explored creativity, digital fluency, and AI’s growing influence on education.

Throughout the day, we discussed strategies for helping students to engage more deeply in their learning journey. We also learned how Adobe Creative Campus institutions are utilising Adobe technologies to provide their students with high-demand skills that make them stand out to employers.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed — your insights made this event truly inspiring!

Living CV with Adobe Express

ree

As students approach graduation, they may find themselves wondering what skills they’ve developed throughout their time at university, and how to communicate this to future employers. The Living CV program is designed to help students track their progress and showcase their skills throughout their university journey. By graduation, students will have a comprehensive and up-to-date CV that reflects their academic and personal development.

What are the benefits?

  • Track progress: Enables students to keep a record of the skills and knowledge acquired throughout their studies.

  • Showcase growth: Students will be able to recognise and articulate the skills, knowledge, and experience that make them unique.

  • Career readiness: By the time students come to graduate, they will have a comprehensive and up-to-date CV that reflects their academic and personal development.

How does it work?

  1. Students begin by creating their CV document in Adobe Express.

  2. Students will be provided with a list of skills they’ve developed at the end of each module and be advised to update their Living CV accordingly.*

* Skills may be provided either as part of the end-of-module reflections or listed within their end-of-module evaluation emails. For more information, visit Living CV with Adobe Express. If you have any questions about how to use this resource, or if you would like to remix this webpage to tailor it to your institution, please contact your Adobe customer success manager.

Responsible Innovation in the Age of GenAI

ree

You may have seen the recent social media trend of users turning themselves into action figures, complete with toy box packaging and superhero names, all thanks to AI. It's fun and creative, but it also raises important questions about copyright and ethical use. Many of these images borrow heavily from existing brands — using copyrighted logos, packaging designs, or character styles without permission.

As AI is becoming an increasingly integral part of our everyday life, understanding how to use AI ethically and responsibly is growing in importance.

Tools like Adobe Firefly are designed with transparency, accountability, and respect for creators’ rights from the ground up. Firefly is trained on licensed, public domain, or Adobe-owned content, compensates stock contributors, and is designed to be commercially safe.

Let’s have fun with AI, but also use it as an opportunity to lead by example — showing students how to explore these tools with both imagination and integrity.

For a fun, creative classroom activity (with an important learning opportunity), share this Adobe Express template with your students, and enable them to generate their own action figure using Adobe Express GenAI features (powered by Adobe Firefly).

Adobe Express Feature Updates

  4. Click ‘merge cells’.

REMIX WEBPAGES AND APPLY PASSWORD PROTECTION — CUSTOMISE AND REPURPOSE CONTENT WITH EASE

ree

  1. To allow others to remix/reuse your Adobe Express webpage content, open your webpage project (in editing mode, not via a published link).

  2. Click ‘Share’ in the top-right corner.

  3. Click ‘Publish to web’, or ‘Publish options’ if already published.

  4. Toggle the option to ‘Allow others to remix’ and (re)publish.

  5. From here, you can also apply password protection as needed.

Now when users visit this URL, they can view your webpage and will have the option to ‘Remix’. If someone remixes your webpage, this creates a new project for the user and will not affect your published design.
