Adobe Student Experience Day Highlights

ree

In February, we welcomed 19 students from 13 Adobe Creative Campus institutions to Adobe HQ, London, to participate in interactive workshops designed to help enhance their career readiness and professional skills. During their visit, students provided us with feedback that enables us to better understand their needs, ensuring Adobe Express will continue to be a valuable and relevant tool for them.

“Grateful for the inspiration to elevate my professional presence and the networking opportunity.”— Katie Macpherson, Manchester Metropolitan University

“I have a fire in my marketing belly now thanks to Adobe, and I am extremely grateful to all who made the day as valuable as it was.”— Kaytlin Auton, Northumbria University

We received over 100 student applications for the Experience Day competition, and we would like to thank everyone for taking the time to apply. Stay tuned for future opportunities!

Due to popular demand, we’re excited to share that the Adobe Education Institute (AEI) is returning Tuesday, 6–Friday, 9 May and available exclusively to Adobe Creative Campuses in Europe. These sessions are suitable for higher education staff and faculty and will focus on Adobe Express.

Through a series of live, hands-on training sessions, you’ll discover ways to simplify your workflows, deepen student engagement, and foster multi-modal teaching.

Adobe Creative Campus Spotlight

ree

We are always excited to highlight innovative and interesting uses of Adobe Express across various subjects. This month, we are excited to share an example from Tom Perou, Digital Learning Media Developer, College of Business & Law at the University of the West of England (UWE).

Tom supports staff and students with integrating creative multimedia into their work/assessments in addition to developing multimedia educational resources. Using Adobe Express, he has created short guidance videos for undergraduate students to support them with their learning and development.

Generate Powerful Images in Adobe Express

ree

As students engage with AI tools, they gain a deeper understanding of how these technologies work and how to use them effectively. Encouraging students to develop their prompt writing skills encourages them to interact with technology in a meaningful way, moving beyond passive consumption to active participation.

Prompts are instructions given to AI to perform a task or generate an output. They play a crucial role in guiding AI’s behaviour and influencing the quality and relevance of its responses. Write descriptive prompts to generate extraordinary and vibrant images — if you don’t like the results, reword your prompt to get closer to what you want.

To get you and your students started, we’ve developed a prompt mastery guidance template in Adobe Express. This template is publicly available, so please feel free to share the link!
